What to Expect

Unhurried Care,

Guided by Your Goals

Starting care can feel like a big step. Here is how the process works, so you know what lies ahead before your first visit. Throughout treatment, your comfort, choices, and goals guide the way.

Your first appointment

Care begins with a 45-minute psychiatric evaluation to explore your concerns, health history, life experiences, and goals. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that considers the whole picture of your well-being.

Ongoing care

Ongoing care consists of weekly or biweekly 30-minute appointments that combine medication management and psychotherapy. These visits provide dedicated time to talk, reflect, and work toward meaningful change, going well beyond a brief medication check.

A whole-person approach

We look beyond a single diagnosis or symptom to explore the experiences and patterns that may be shaping how you feel. Your care may include somatic, cognitive, and relational psychotherapy, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, medication, patient education, lifestyle modifications, and supplements selected for their supporting evidence and individual suitability.

Our work makes room to reprocess past experiences, ease their hold on the present, and strengthen the habits and connections that support your life today.
